We are here to create learning opportunities to build their agency.

Lead Read Foundation is a non-profit organization registered under section 8 of companies act 2013; dedicated to empowering children and youth from marginalized communities through literacy, cognitive skill development, and access to quality educational resources. We create inclusive reading spaces that foster a love for books, enhance comprehension, and promote creative expression. By using books as catalysts, we aim to build agency, critical thinking, and lifelong learning skills, enabling individuals to break free from socio-economic barriers. Our mission is to nurture curious, informed, and empowered individuals who can contribute meaningfully to society, driving sustainable social change through education and knowledge accessibility.

Our mission is to provide an access to books to all the marginal communities. Promoting literacy, different perspectives, encourage problem-solving, and nurture curiosity and imagination. Fostering cognitive and emotional development. Our goal is to inspire lifelong learning, broaden horizons, and empower young minds for a brighter future.

What We do

We cater children from Age- 5to 16

 

I am Straggler Stage

 All the children who can’t read, write and or haven’t developed listening skills, they will be supported through literacy sessions to enhance their reading, writing and listening skills.

 
 

I am A Reader

Children who can read and write but do not reading habit or do not read will be encouraged and support by mentors in Readers Stage. The purpose of this stage is building reading habit among them and motivating them to read, reflect and share with others fellow readers.

 

I am Communicator

Here we take them through workshops and activities related to storytelling, creative writing, public speaking and many more activities.

The goal is to build communication skills which can help them for breaking the barriers in communicating with world outside slum.
